Three GreenFields XP 40 pitches for softball and baseball at Pan American Games Lima

In total, the Villa Maria del Triunfo sports complex contains five GreenFields pitches; two blue TX Elite hockey pitches, and three GreenFields XP 40 pitches for softball and baseball. This XP product uses the most advanced fibrillated tape fibres manufactured by a patented process. The end result – a narrower fibrillation pattern than other fibrillated tape fibres  - give the user a softer organic surface close to natural grass. GreenFields XP combines this with enhanced durability and increased comfort and safety leading to an excellent playing experience. All five pitches are installed by GreenFields partner Menbel Sports. The Pan American Games Lima 2019 will gather around 6,700 athletes, who will participate in 39 sports and 61 disciplines, of which 22 disciplines are qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
