    Artificial Turf

    GreenFields is committed to develop high-tech artificial playing surfaces, enabling natural sports play - with increased durability and the capability for many more fixtures than your typical grass pitch. Our research and development team is constantly innovating our product range to ensure we meet both professional playing standards but are also at the forefront of new technologies in our market. Our high quality artificial grass meets a number of specifications for different sports with our product range including traditional tufted and innovative premium woven turf. 

    Artificial Turf Costs

    The cost for a new synthetic pitch can vary, depending on a number of elements including pitch dimensions, the condition of the existing sub base, the turf chosen plus other installation options such as artificial grass infill, shock pad, floodlighting, fencing and sports equipment. GreenFields can provide you with a free no obligation site visit where we will survey your pitch in order for us to provide you with a quotation for the works that you require.  

     

    Non-infill

    The next generation of artificial turf with a simplified system design; the non-filled systems have a performance thatch layer of artificial turf fibres which replaces the performance infill. These systems are especially suitable for soccer, multi-use & community pitches.


    Tufted Non-infill     

    Low pile tufted product with durable straight monofilament fibres and a performance thatch layer.   


    Woven Non-infill   
    The GreenFields MX NF, the ultimate non-infill solution, offering more durability, higher performance and a stunning pitch to play on.

    3G Pitch

    GreenFields offers a full 3G pitch construction service from design and planning through to completion. As a FIFA Preferred Producer for football turf and a World Rugby Preferred Producer for rugby turf, our 3G turf systems provide sports clubs and educational establishments with the assurance that they are high quality, durable and manufactured to a professional standard.

    What is a 3G Pitch?

    A sports pitch with third generation artificial turf technology is commonly known as a 3G pitch, this comprises of longer synthetic grass (40mm-60mm) than the older second generation (2G) pitches with infill which ensures that the turf fibres remain vertical and acts as a cushion during play to maximise safety. 3G pitches are ideal for football and rugby and have improved drastically over the years, our new high-tech woven systems are revolutionising 3G sports turf technology and pushing the boundaries from that of traditional tufting techniques.
